Here are the three most important inspections you can have done.
Today we’ll go over what inspections you should do when you’re purchasing a home. There are lots of different inspections you could do, but we’ll focus on the three most important ones:
1. Whole house inspection. This type of inspection includes a pest and rot inspection. It’s a visual inspection, so keep that in mind that there may be hidden issues.
These last two are usually optional and cost extra to do.
2. Sewer scope. I always recommend doing this for every home to make sure there are no blockages.
3. Radon test. This inspection tests for radon gas in the home. It may be more or less important based on your area, so you should do some research on where you live first to see if you need it.
